Urban-Think Tank wins Holcim Gold Award for «Fábrica de Música»

Urban-Think Tank – Prof. Alfredo Brillembourg and Prof. Hubert Klumpner, with Michael Contento and Lindsey Sherman – has won the Holcim Gold Award 2011 for Latin America with their project «Grotão – Fábrica de Música», a terraced landscape and multifunctional public building located in the Paraisópolis favela of São Paolo, Brazil. It serves as an intelligent response to high-risk zones and as a catalyst for a new, productive urban model.
