The research traces emergence, development, and impact of the scenario method in Dutch urban design. Despite their debatable effect, such comprehensive spatial images of the future proliferated in an uncertain and increasingly communicative planning environment. Dissertation research by Christian Salewski, Institute for Urban Design (supported by HGIS Culture Fund/The Netherlands Architecture Fund).
