Publication and Exhibition
The publication and exhibition «Bodies of Water – A Swiss Landscape Trilogy» display waterscapes from the Morteratsch glacier, hydropower plants in the Engadin, and the drinking water infrastructure in Zurich. Large format analogue black and white photographs are paired with site-specific acoustic recordings to create an audio-visual impression of the melting, dammed, and buried landscapes that today’s society brought about.
Die Publikation und Ausstellung «Bodies of Water – A Swiss Landscape Trilogy» zeigt Wasserlandschaften vom Morteratschgletscher, Wasserkraftwerke im Engadin und die Trinkwasserinfrastruktur in Zürich. Grossformatige analoge Schwarz-Weiss-Fotografien werden mit ortsspezifischen akustischen Aufnahmen gepaart, um einen audiovisuellen Eindruck der schmelzenden, gestauten und vergrabenen Landschaften zu schaffen, die unsere heutige Gesellschaft hervorgebracht hat.
