Looking forward as well as back into the history of Urban- Think Tank (U-TT), this book will tell the story of the interdis- ciplinary design practice emerging from the turbulent political environment of Chávez-era Caracas. Pursuing projects in Latin America, Europe, and Africa for almost twenty years and ima- gining new spaces for a hyper-urbanized world, U-TT’s story is one of gaining insight from informal settlements, spatial play, and artistic interventions in public space.
