The article illustrates recent design trends in South Korea`s landscape architecture. As the country’s prosperity slowly increased after the Korean War, South Korea began to develop a design vocabulary based on its own traditions and culture. Using the example of Naksan Park, the article inquires, how to link historical to contemporary design approaches.
