Fleet control algorithms for automated mobility: A simulation assessment for Zurich

For the city of Zurich a fleet of autonomous taxis is simulated and controlled by different dispatching and rebalancing algorithms. The operation scheme with rebalancing is able to minimize waiting times of the service. Although a considerable amount of empty mileage is produced, the price per kilometer can be kept in a reasonable range.
